🌟 The Intermediate Experience

One of the things our Intermediate campers love most is the space, freedom, and variety that each week brings.

Set on the wide-open grounds of the Milton Fairgrounds, campers have the opportunity to move, explore, and take part in activities that feel bigger, more active, and more exciting than a typical day camp setting. Whether they’re competing in team challenges, spreading out for games, or taking on outdoor adventures, there’s always something happening.

Each week features a unique theme that adds an extra layer of fun and creativity to the experience. While crafts, games, and challenges are inspired by the weekly theme, campers will still enjoy the full Camp Summer Blast experience, including sports, outdoor play, team competitions, and classic camp favourites.

What truly sets this experience apart for our older campers is the environment our staff create. We know that campers in Grades 5–7 are looking for something different. They want to feel respected, included, and part of something that matches their age and energy.

Our counsellors are highly interactive and genuinely engaged in the day. They welcome campers, check in with them, jump into games, and help build a strong sense of connection within each group. It’s this approach that creates a positive, inclusive atmosphere where campers feel comfortable being themselves and excited to come back each day.

No matter the theme, every week includes our signature highlights:

• 🔍 Summer Blast Amazing Race (Thursdays): Teams work together to solve clues, complete challenges, and race across the grounds to the finish
• 💦 Water Day (Fridays): High-energy water games and splash battles (yes… counsellors included!)

From themed activities like scavenger hunts to action-packed outdoor games, every week is designed to give campers variety, choice, and the chance to try something new.
