Space Explorers

For our Kindergarten and Primary campers, Space Explorers runs during Week 1 (June 29 & 30, and July 2 & 3) and is a guided week full of imagination, discovery, and space-themed fun. Campers will enjoy hands-on crafts, simple STEAM activities, and playful “missions” inspired by planets, rockets, and astronauts. Please note that we are closed on Wednesday, July 2 for Canada Day, so this is a 4-day week.

Space Explorers

In this exciting week of camp, our Kindergarten and Primary campers will “blast off” into Space Explorers as they explore space through fun games, guided challenges, and hands-on activities inspired by planets, astronauts, and exploration. In their age-specific groups, campers will take part in themed crafts, simple STEAM activities, movement games, and outdoor adventures that spark curiosity and big imagination, with lots of support and direction from our counsellors. *We also have special visits from Paw Patrol and Pokémon characters throughout the week!

Note: Space Explorers campers participate in ALL the same activities we've always offered, with the added bonus of space-inspired activities woven throughout the week. Campers will still enjoy the full Camp Summer Blast experience with outdoor play, games, crafts, challenges, visits to our GIANT sandbox and classic camp fun, plus our daily stories and routine visits to Pikachu’s House for our youngest campers.

This week also includes exciting special highlights. Campers will experience a Mobile Planetarium for an incredible, immersive look at the night sky and our solar system, and will meet Bones the Paleontologist, who will bring real space rocks (including pieces of meteorites) along with fossils, bones, and more for an engaging, age-appropriate session. Campers will also take part in our weekly favourites, the Summer Blast Amazing Race on Thursday, where teams work together to complete challenges, solve clues left by Pikachu and Chase, and race to the finish! And of course, our Water Day happens each Friday for splash-tastic fun!
