Dino Discovery

Dino Discovery (Week 6: August 4 - 7) is a roar-some week of hands-on learning, guided play, and dinosaur-themed fun! Boys and Girls will enjoy themed crafts, simple STEAM activities, outdoor dino-games and hunts, and daily crafts, stories and exciting routines and dino-tastic visits to Pikachu’s House (a camp favourite)! Weekly highlights include visits from Bones the Paleontologist, our Summer Blast Amazing Race and Scavenger Hunt and our splash-tastic Water Day on Friday to finish the week strong!

Dino Discovery

Dino Discovery is an super-exciting week for both boys and girls entering Kindergarten to Grade 2. Campers will travel back in time and become junior paleontologists through dinosaur-themed games, crafts, and guided activities that spark curiosity and imagination! In their age-specific groups, campers will enjoy hands-on crafts, STEAM activities, movement games, and outdoor play, with lots of direction and support from our counsellors.

From experience, we know that our campers love characters from Pokémon (and of course Pikachu) to Paw Patrol, Bluey, Bubble Guppies, Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol! Throughout the week, children will take part in activities inspired by these much-loved characters, with a dino-twist! Boys and girls will love everything about this week including all of our favourite camp activities!

This week also includes exciting special highlights and theme days. Campers can look forward to fun "Palo-Hunts" as they search for "ancient" bones in our giant sandbox while getting up and close with real fossils that are millions of years old! Of course campers will still participate in outdoor games, crafts and fun challenges with the support of their counsellors.  Campers will also take part in our weekly favourites, the Summer Blast Amazing Race on Thursday, and our Water Day each Friday for splash-tastic fun!

SPECIAL GUEST! This week also includes exciting special highlights and theme days. Campers will meet Bones the Paleontologist for an engaging, age-appropriate session where they’ll learn about fossils, dinosaurs, and the amazing world of prehistoric animals.
